Zucchini My students go crazy when zucchini are in season as everyone wants to make the fried blossoms, fiori fritti. We only fry the guys. Yes, there are boy zucchini and girl zucchini. The girl zucchini have a fallopian tube sort of stamen on the inside and they will produce a zucchini, where as the boys have a single (yes, that sort of shape) and will not give birth!
