A Kitchen in Chianti: Wednesdays
One-day cooking classes in Certaldo. Wednesday is market day in Certaldo; an entire street is blocked off for the movable market and we will do a short tour through picking up fresh fruits and vegetables from Francesca, my purveyor. Cooking classes are held in the home of my friend and neighbor Paola of The Villa La Poggiolaia. We prepare a full Tuscan meal, and enjoy it overlooking the fabulous valley with San Gimingnano in the distance.
Class includes market tour, cooking class with full meal with wine from the villa, round-trip transportation from the Certaldo train station to the villa. Everyone receives a Divina Cucina apron, shopping bag, and a copy of my cookbook, Secrets from My Tuscan Kitchen.

Certaldo is on the train line from Florence to Siena and is a one hour ride. We are near San Gimignano, Colle di Val d'Elsa, and Siena. Round trip transportation is provided to the tour starting point.
