Fuori Porta (Outskirts of Florence) Restaurant Zibibbo Via di Terzollina, 3R Tel: 055-433383 Benedetta Vitali has a place of her own. Since began her cooking career with her husband Fabio Picchi, and together they made history at Cibrèo. They have separate lives now, and she has her own place and her own touch. Here you can enjoy pasta as a first course and rub elbows with locals. Their garden across the street from the restaurant ensures wonderful fresh produce. Zibibbo is located in the outskirts of Florence by the Careggi Hospital. Bus number 14 will take you right there. Recently I had a fabulous boneless stuffed duck with an orange sauce that was more like jam! Benedetta just published her recipes in an English-only, widely available cookbook called Soffritto.
